I’ve seen a few of these now, but for some reason I just like the format of this one.
Chart
Go to the link provided below to find the predictor chart on the right side of the page under WM-SPIELPLAN. I know it is in German, but I’m sure you can figure it out.

I didn’t think about it that much, but Brazil met Portugal at a semi-final and the final was Brazil vs. Italy. I don’t think my heart would survive this final. I survived when we played against Germany 2002, but Italy have a strange energy against us.

The more and more I think about it, the more I see the huge probability of Portugal meeting The Netherlands, yet again, if both go through groups. And after that, who knows, maybe England AGAIN…

I’d prefer a million times Portugal would meet Brazil than Italy (if possible, none of the 2 would do just fine). With Italy, we stand no chance. With Brazil - even if it’s a small one - Portugal can go through.

Pretty spiffy chart you found there Soze. Very user friendly. I’ve got my German dictionay out to look up Schweden. Ah, got it, Sweden, for a second there thought it was a new country with all the political changes. I’m tackling punktgleichheit next. Someone translate this and send it to ESPN so they can follow the cup.

I typed in a search and all I got were some sites with people in black leather and jack boots with whips and chains, now I’m scared to look anymore. The German-English Dictionary online told me the word/phrase translates to point equality

Yeah, i’ts a good chart. I found one before on the Sky sports page but it was not as snazzy.

Portugal meeting Holland and England would be interesting…but I would rather a new string of teams comes your way, more interesting that way huh. It’s funny how Italy has a strange energy against some teams and no matter what, even if the Italian team is the weaker side, they manage to give trouble. With Croatia it’s the other way around for Italy. They have a hard time with us. We played them 5 times and won twice, tied twice and lost one. Not a bad record I think.

soze, when did we lose against italy?
as far as i know, their best result against us is a draw, meaning that if memory serves me right (and more often than not it doesn’t), we never lost a game to them.

mal was anderes: wo in deutschland bist du?

tomislav

Tomislav, It was in 1942. A friendly in Genova, Italy and we lost 4:0. I know it was a long time ago, but I had to include it. Go to the following link to see all the international matches Croatia has played.

I find this way to submit your own prediction much better: http://fo.reca.st/wm.php. Pretty easy and smart.
No notepads, no Excel :-)
