Reasons NOT to own a sports team…

This has nothing to do with WC but I had to relay the story.

Historically, the biggest game in the Croatian Soccer League has always been between arch rivals Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split. This coming Saturday, the next installment of this derby will be underway at 20:15 local time in Split.
This in itself is not any kind of extrordinary news; what makes it interesting is that only 3 tickets have been sold to a game that is usually sold out far in advance, with lineups of still hopefulls surrounding the stadium before kickoff.

With that kind of interest, the profit Hajduk will make from this game is a cool $30. I should have listened to my dad and gotten into sports ownership.
