So there are plenty of Football related commercials on the telly as of late. The real war is waging between the two biggies, Nike and Adidas, with Pepsi right there on their tail to keep it interesting.

Now, here is a TV spot that has been sweeping Croatia. There are no big name players, no fancy effects or mock games in small town Spain or on a suspended soccer field; but just a commercial that has managed to pull on the heart strings of Croatian soccer fans.

Not only has the spot itself captured the pride of Croatians, but in turn, the Croatians have made the song their
unofficial anthem of the National Team for the WC2006 games.

The lyrics are: “Srce moje kuca za nju, jako volim moju Hrvatsku”,
Translation: “My heart beats for her, I love my Croatia”

Really enjoyed that. Ozujsko won first place in a tasting at an Int. Beer Competition in London recently. Anybody else have something to share about Croatia celebrating the WC?

i love thet commercial but i think that you wrote the lyrics wrong. it’s something like that but not completely correct.

Nope, those are the exact lyrics, it’s the way that they are sung in the commercial that makes them hard to follow. I got the lyrics direct off the Ozujsko web site since I had trouble understanding them too at first.

Hrvatska!

You guys should checkout the shoes that came out from Nike with Ipod applications. Nike and Apple coming together is a perfect combination and if this can motivate a healthier lifestyle than more power to them.
