Neighbourly love….

There will be local support for Croatians that will be going to Germany this summer for the WC games. A German Web Portal that brings together young Croats living in Germany, has set up a Forum where all Croatian visitors can register to and receive help with accomodations, transportation and many other details during the WC.

The organizers of the forum are receiving daily e-mails requesting help, mostly with accomodations and a plan is in the works to find private citizens who are willing to offer a spare bed in their homes. With some 300,000 Croatians living in Gerany, this may actually be feasable. In adittion, the forum will feature city guides and rail timetables to the cities where Croatia is playing, as well as bar locations where Croatians can watch the games in case they could not secure tickets. A concert is also in the works.

Maybe all those crazy Brazilians can get in on the action as well.
