Japanese spies in Croatia….
Our friend Pasha at the Angola blog has revealed that Portugal is sending spies to observe some oponents friendlies. Well, Japan is going one further.
As a group mate of Croatia’s, Japan has sent a team of documentary film makers to Zagreb under the guise of making a “documentary” about Croatian soccer. One of the main peices, they say, will be on a very famous Croatian female soccer star…Maca Maradona, as she’s called. So let me see, 38 days before the start of the world cup, the largest sporting event in the world, the Japanese are interested in an ageing female soccer star….right.
The film-makers also say that they have some great footage of a recent game played in Zagreb and will be taking what they have filmed back with them to Japan for editing. C’mon guys. Just fess up. You’re there couse you’re sick and tired of eating sushi and wish to try some culinary delights Croatia has to offer….oh, and you wish to spy on our NT. It’s OK, we understand.
And anyway, I don’t know what they are so worried about. Lothar Matthaus has already said that they are going through the group along with Croatia.

They may be there for the cabbage rolls or checking out the new golf courses being built in Istria. By the way, it was Nk Dinamo’s 95th anniversary last weekend.

You mean Građanskog. lol..
Kapcro> Are you a purist or do you accept the name Dinamo.

Either way doesn’t bother me. I just know them as Hajduk’s arch rival.

Are you a Dinamo or Hajduk supporter. I have always been partial to NK Zagreb. My aunt used to be a staunch supporter and used to take me to their games. So I guess it’s more of my youth nostalgia than actuall club preference.

I honestly respect both clubs and didn’t really favor either one. I have a relative in Osijek that is a rabid Hajduk fan and have a soft spot for Split, but find myself enjoying each team. I guess I have to lean to Hajduk. I love Aunts like you have, they know how to be great fans.
