How do we look so far?

3rd place in some far away tournament against not so good squads? Is that good enough?

Well considering that 25 regulars did not show up in Hong Kong, Cico was forced to use the young ones. So, needless to say “deckici” (boys) did great. They got to show what Croatian football can expect in the future. So far we look ok. No one expected anything great from us since the regulars were not playing. Regardless, you always must hope and fight for the best result. This is the crucial time for some young players to shine and maybe earn that spot on the world cup squad. They played like crap in the first game against South Korea. Goalkeeper even let in a goal from 30 meters away!!! Oh well, mistakes happen, and you move one. Game against Hong Kong was much better (4-0) and we got to see some young guns. According to Cico, all in all a good tournament. We did not play that great in this tournament, but the upcoming friendlies will show our real face, when we get to face some of the best teams in the world. Stay tuned.
