Croatia vs. Brazil: The Fan…
Here are some pictures of the young man that showed the German World Cup organizers that their security is at 1972 levels. During the Croatia vs. Brazil game, the determined fan hopped a fence, jumped over a pit four meters deep and two meters wide and made his way around countless security guards to find his way to the pitch. He did it. With that kind of athletic ability, I say give the man a jersey and put him in the midfield.

All he really wanted to do is kiss the boots of Dado Prso, who in the end escorted him off the field with no incident. The game was stopped for a few minutes. It was remeniscant of Euro ‘04 when Jimmy Jump ran up to Figo and threw a Barcelona flag at him….no real incident, just funny.

The Greman police promptly arrested the young lad and banned him from all future games of this WC. In my opinion, I think they should give him VIP tickets and limousine transportation to any games he wishes to attend for pointing out a flaw in their security net surrounding the games. The organisers of this WC were adament that the safety of the players and security of the games were of upmost concern and that nothing like Munich 1972 could be repeated…..

UPDATE: This guy is now so famous in Croatia, there is even a drawing of his accomplishments.

the fan picked the wrong time to run into field.
In the future, we’ll see Eduardo, Etto (brazil), Chago (camerun) also play for cro-team.

Jerry…lol Why do you have to be so negative?
By the way if Germany ends up first and Argentina end up first in their groups , Germany will have to play Argentina..and Im perrty sure Germany wont let something like that happen to them.
But right now I cant wait to see Italy play USA, if USA loses then they are out. I dont know who to root for, I would feel bad for USA if they make an early exit..
Who cares I’ll just lay back and enjoy..on the Crapy ESPN channel that claims to be Broadcasting HDTV, but the quality seems like I recorded it with my Old Sony 1991 Cam.
I thought it was the TV but I have a plasma that supports HDTV, so i think ESPN is just saying their showing it on high definition even they are not.lol
Congrats To Argentina, but I still belive you guys arent going too far, serbia was just playing horrible so that game you cant compare to how good argentina really is, even though you guys really did good, passed great and finished beatifully.
I dont know why im writing this in the Croatia blog, there is no Argentininas in here, I guess if one drops by, he will appreciate it …lol
ANYWAYS, back to my BELOVED CROATIA..
Im feeling perry confident now that croatia will beat Japan and Australia.
If Croatia Ties Japan, and beats Australia we will still probably end up second, because Australia and Japan have to chance in hell to beat brazil, its possoble but highly unlikely.
If we make it to the second round our most likely opponent will be the Check Rep., or Italy, I think were gonna play italy. If we do we’re gonna beat them, cuz we always beat them..we’re just lucky that way..And after Italy it is most likely France, wich I think we could beat, if we play like we played brazil. Anything is possible, but I have a good feeling that Croatia is going to the semi finals and that they will surprise Germany and be in the Final with brazil..
Think about it. If we could of beat the best soccer Natioon in the world, we can beat t anyone.. I hope you all croatians Support Croatia and pray for them..If you belive good things happen, if you dont you just waste your time..
Anyways Good lucky Croatia, and beat the samurais….Man all this typing made me hungry…I want some Pite, oh, and maybe some Cevapcici…oh no, you know what sounds good right now!!? SARMA!! Ok thats it good bye, and good luck croatia!!

Croatia go into this game aiming to avoid a fourth successive defeat in all competitions. The 1-0 loss to Brazil, followed two World Cup warm-up matches when Poland and Spain were their victors. No player from the Croatia squad managed to score in those three matches, as the goal against Spain was an own goal from Spain’s Pablo.

Chill out you guys…I checked this blog to read about the World Cup not racist putdowns or political crap. There are 3 good and 1 exceptional team in group F so lets show them all due respect. I’m Australian with Croatian heritage. I’m supporting Australia…Whilst I highly respect and value my heritage, I was born here and I love this country as do other Australians with Anglo, Asian or European backgrounds.
May the best team win!

Okay in reference to the young gentlemen that ran out onto the field. Having been seated in the Olympic Stadium to watch this game, only meters away from where the young man jumped over the barriers, there is nothing to criticise or glowt about here. This young man was not highly intoxicated but appeared mentally challenged and it was not a stunt it was just a kid who loves his team and his football running onto the field to pay homage to one of his hero’s, hence why the German Police did not treat him severly when he was apprehended. It was a touching moment for those who witnessed it live with their own eyes. This is what makes football the best game in the world!
