Croatia vs. Australia: The Lineup…
Here it is, Cico is using a 4-4-2 formation for the game against the Aussies. Pletikosa – Šimić, Tomas, Šimunić and Babić – Srna, Tudor, Niko Kovač and Kranjčar – Pršo, Olić.
Yep, Olić has fully recovered and is starting on Thursday. So much for the 3 man attack strategy…maybe he’ll sub Klasnić for Kranjčar in the second half. One can hope, but you never know with this guy.
When asked if he chose this formation because he thinks the Aussie defence is slow he responded “No, I don’t think they are slow, but Olić is fast and he could cause trouble in their back line.” Could…this guy doesen’t even know what his team is capable of. You want to cause trouble in front of the net, I say put in a third striker. He was also asked if he is exploiting any weaknesses in the Australian team with this new formation, and he stated…”No coach likes to talk about the oppositions weakness, but I will say what our strength is….We have better players than Australia.” I guess we’ll see on Thursday.

Socceroos……….why do you constantly complain that Croatia stole your players??? Where would your soccer program be without Sydney United and Melbourne Knights (aka Croatia). Both organizations were Croatian formed and run. It was Croatia that gave you good soccer. Stop complaining and say “Thank You” to Croatia for great soccer and horse racing!
-Cheers,

Miles mate, we don’t complain about Croatia steeling our players.
Each player has a choice to make and those who chose to play for Croatia – then that is their perogative and good luck to them.
Mate, I used to go and watch a lot of the old NSL games especially Sydney Croatia as me soccer mates were Cro. We stopped going though cause there just seemed to be trouble at almost every game. Shame, as their was a lot of atmosphere in the games.

There were no Montenegrins playing at this World Cup so we ddnt disgrace anything LOL. Way to imbaress the Balkans by drawing with Japan and Austrlia. ROFL……… I mean use lost to a Croat “B” team for gods sake…….Tito would have sent the team to Goli Otok if they ever played as badly as Croatia and Serbia at this World Cup.
btw Ludilo…….balija is a term for the Muslims. Its like me calling you a Cetnik. But thats alright I didnt expect your Aussie Born arse to know that

Crno,
If you have nothing else better to do than to go on a football blog and harass people, than I honestly pity you.
The fact that you get off on putting people down and starting conflict, says a lot a about your charachter and class..which is very low.
Croatia will be back in four years. They put in a proud effort and didn’t go home humiliated unlike some teams (ie SCG).
P.S. Crno: Relish SCG ill fated campaign. Cause Montengro itself will never be back! And Croatia will

“Congratulations on missing out on making it out of the group stages for your 3rd Major final apperance since the Yugoslav created players retired. A truly wonderful night…….”
Contratulations to you to CrnoGorac, for Yugoslavia/Serbia & Montenegro/Greater Serbia not making any impact at all since the dawn of time. Wow, how interesting and that the only “Yugoslav created” (as you so stupidly put it) players that made any influence after the glorious demise of Yugoslavia just happened to be Croats? Coincidence, I don’t think so buddy. Where were your inspirational Serbian or Montenegrin players? Nowhere. That’s where.
So CrnoGorac, please, do yourself and the general populac a favour – either go back to Beograd and don your communist petokraka, or keep quiet and leave us alone. Because Croatia put up with
73 years of Yugoslav bullshit, and we don’t need to put up with it now from you of all people, now that Yugoslavia is thankfully dead and buried. AMEN.

“Congratulations on missing out on making it out of the group stages for your 3rd Major final apperance since the Yugoslav created players retired. A truly wonderful night…….”
Congratulations to you too CrnoGorac, because Yugoslavia/Serbia & Montenegro/Greater Serbia have never managed to make any impact WHATSOEVER in ANY tournaments since the dawn of time. So who are you to have a go at us??? Laughable.
And how interesting that the only “Yugoslav created” (as you so stupidly put it) players that made any impact after the glorious demise of Yugoslavia just happen to be Croats. Coincidence? I don’t think so buddy. Where were the Yugoslav/Serb/Montenegrin players that were “created” under the same regime? The answer is nowhere CrnoGorac. NOWHERE.
So please, do us and the general populace a huge favour by donning your communist petokraka and go back to Beograd – we just want to be left alone. Croatia has put up with 73 years of Yugoslav bullsh!t and we certainly don’t need it coming from you of all people, especially now that Yugoslavia is thankfully dead and buried. AMEN

Yeah our Golden Generation didnt get the chance to compete a World Cup, cos your Fascist President started a War. Would have made it far at Euro 92 and USA 94….But thats history, you cant ever be sure.
btw……….Savicevic? (Who overshadowed Boban at Ac Milan) and Mijatovic (Who kept Suker on the bench at Real Madrid) are two Montenegrins to be proud of
Nah in all seriousness. Its been fun talking to you guys, but theres no poiint going on anymore………Have a nice life LOL

Croatia just like Ludilo up there, played as expected a side lacking in talent, playing rough, dirty football, giving heaps to the opposition including racist remarks and really got what they deserved a quick EXIT from this WC in the 1st round just like Euro 2004 and the last WC. Go the SOCCEROOS!!!

Look at this bloke CrnoGorac: he’s been made a fool of in front of everybody, spins some more unsubstantiated shit, then runs off like a girl. “Its been fun talking to you guys, but theres no poiint [sic] going on anymore” because YOU KNOW you are out of your league. YOU KNOW you are wrong.
All I’ll say about your childish response is that I simply cannot believe that one person can be SO WILDLY MISGUIDED as to believe that our “Fascist President” started a war. OH MY GOD. My brain is recoiling in horror at the sheer magnitute of your stupidity, that I cannot even begin to formulate a response. All I’ll say is that it is a documented fact that Serbia/Yugoslavia were the aggressors of the war – arguing the point is absolutely futile.
Similarly, I might make mention of the fact that it was a Serb that Assiassinated Arch Duke Ferdinand that consequently started the First World War, and it was a Montenegrin that assassinated Stjepan Radic (founder of the HSS – Hrvatska Seljačka Stranka). So don’t talk to me about starting a war you communist militant fuckwit.
Yeah it’s been fun CrnoGorac – it’s been fun putting up with 73 years of Yugoslavian oppression. ODJEBI SE ONCE AND FOR ALL.
Anyway, let’s talk about football! LiverpoolFC – let’s be fair: both teams played dirty. Croatia should have been penalised 2 more times, and Harry Kewell (who should have been suspended for dissent from that last game) scored from 5 metres offside. Both teams got yellows for a reason: Australia are renowned hackers, and Croatia played particularly ugly. Fair is fair. The better team got through on the day at least.

CrnoGorac, I might also mention that your best mate Savicevic, (who by no means overshadowed Boban – that’s your personal and biased opinion) was a major advocate and campaigner for Montenegrin Independence. I suggest you follow in his footsteps!!!

Australia

Yes Savicevic definitly overshadowed Boban……..
And he supported Montenegrin Independance just as I did…..I dont want to live in a Greater Serbia. But Savicevic was also a huge YUGOSLAV just as I am. He actually had a reason to support Independance, whilst Croats wanted independace from what???? A country run by Croats (Tito, Ribar) and formed by Croats (Sisak congregation 1941)……..I just think you Nazis from Australia really need to stop living in your fantasy world. Croatia now with its 30% unemployment rate is now as important to the world as Kazakstan and Aserbaijan……..Whilst in Yugoslavia your Fascist race actually meant something ahahahaahahhahaha

HAHA CrnoGorac, what ever happened to “Its been fun talking to you guys, but theres no poiint [sic] going on anymore”… you just couldn’t help yourself could you? Always have to say the last word. Well nedam te jebo te stric.
“Yes Savicevic definitly overshadowed Boban……” Wow, good argument dude, well researched. Keep up the good work.
Savicevic had NO REASON to support independence – once a Yugo, always a Yugo. He just realised too late that he’d made a big mistake playing for the communists, a painful submission you’re yet to realise.
Tito? A Hrvat? Good lord. He was a Hrvat by birth but SEREM TITU. He’s like you CrnoGorac, you’re an Aussie from Perth but you’re really a Chetnik from the slaughter fields of Bleiburg. Same shit, different smell.
And Ribar? A PARTIZAN just like you? Don’t get me started on him. Get it through your Yugo head that Yugoslavia WAS GREATER SERBIA. YOU HAVE BEEN LIVING A LIE. YOUR PARENTS FED YOU CRAP AND YOU GOBBLED IT UP LIKE A GOOD LITTLE PUPPY.
“Whilst in Yugoslavia your Fascist race actually meant something”… ha!! Yeah like what? Croatia was the second richest state in Yugoslavia (after Slovenia) and all fruits of Hrvatska’s labour went straight to Beograd. Thanks for nothing Yugoslavia. I think what you should be saying is that now without our “Fascist” state, your Communist caravan park is up shit creek!!! No wonder you invade, rape and pillage every time someone asks for independence!
“Fantasy world”… eeejjj moj dragi Crno Gorac, I do believe you’re the one who has been misled: how does it feel to know everything you believed so strongly in is nothing but propaganda and bullshit? Zao mi je Crno Gorac, we could have been slavic brothers.
To all my Hrvatski brothers who really only come here to talk about Football – I honestly apologise for pushing the political envelope but I only do this because Crno Gorac here is on a mission to smear the name of Croatia, just like his Yugoslav comrades have been doing for the past 73 years – and I for one will not stand for it.

CRNO GORAC
Do some research… Croatia’s unemployment rate is 11.5% dick head and it economy is growing at a rate of 5% per year. Only the Czechs in Eastern Europe have a faster growing economy.
Australia had a similar Unemployment rate under labor only 10 years ago and presently Australia’s economy growth is about half a percent.
So as you can see here CRNO and as we all here already know, you’re full of shit!
