1. and 2.) Italy is showing off the classic Mr. Spock look, while Brazil imposes itself in a Capt. Kirk outfit
3.) England, meanwhile, opts for the Scotty fashion - “Captain, the dilithium crystals won’t last much longer!”

The Scottish uniform also has a link to Star Trek. They are a throwback to the tight fitting and provocative uniforms all the women on that show used to wear.

I can’t believe I did it, but I did. I actually went back, after reading your comment, to look at those shorts. You’re right. They are the male equivalent to what Uhura was forced to wear.

Scotland should have been given a yellow card straight off just for stepping on the pitch for that fashion travesty.

Milane, I remember. I looked all over the net for any proof of that but could not find it in writing. Any idea where I can find it?

Soze I saw the article in the magazine “Soccer International” which also has a peace on the legendary Zvonomir Boban. It stated the best and worst of the world cup. The best team Kit went to Croatia and the fact they received the honor from a well know football magazine was enough enthuses for me to quote on it.
