Argentina - It’s on!

In the news conference yesterday, Zlatko Kranjcar - Cico - said that the real preparation will start after the Argentina match on March 1st.

His hope is to play all the main players in this friendly. However, his main concerns are the injured players that are not playing for their clubs right now, especially Robert Kovac and Josip Simunic. These guys have to be healthy for the World Cup in order for us to put a decent team on the field. Cico will annonce the list of candidates for this match next week. Bring it on Gauchos!

Cico also mentioned that he will pay close attention to Japan in their upcoming friendlies. Japan match will be crucial for us to advance from the group stages this summer. Hence, all the preparation we can get for them will be necessary. Experience that we gained in Asia during Carlsberg Cup last month will help us in developing some kind of a strategy for a feisty Japanese team.
