Tragedy In Klagenfurt

June 12th, 2008 | By: Mario | 6 Comments »

A terrible tragedy occurred in Klagenfurt at approximately 16.40 today, as a 20-year old Croatian fan died of what’s believed to be a heart condition. Though his name hasn’t been announced yet, I guess all we can do is offer deepest condolences to his family and friends. Despite a great result we pulled off today, this tragedy simply puts everything else in perspective. Anything I say will probably sound cliche and I feel awful writing about this terrible news.

Rest in peace.

A solemn update:
News have later announced that the youngster’s name was Marin Zubcic, age 22. Reported cause of death is apparently a heart attack. Počivao u miru.
