Modric is a great player. He is fast and has a good sence for teamplay. I just hope he will play for arsenal or in some team in the premier. Maybe 25 million euro is a little to much but hes worth the money.Just watch croatia beating germany poland and austria. modric is going t be a incredible player.

I agree Tristan, though in the game against England, many (including me) will tell you that Modric was actually pretty quiet, at least comparing to what kind of performance he usually puts out in a national game. He has stated numerous times now that playing for Barca would be a dream come true, and that he fancies La Liga over the other leagues. It would be fantastic if they signed him.

Modric is a great playmaker.After Croatia 3-2 beating England, British medie considered Modric as the most important role in this match. I think 20m is acceptable. As a Barca fan, I really want him to replace Deco. I think he has this ability. Euro 2008 will be a big stage for Modric. Just wait and see his show.

The price is probably a little over exaggarated, as Croatian media tends to have a habit of doing so. But, in terms of quality, I’d rate him as one of the best playmakers around. And he’s only 22, so he can get only better.
Hypothetically, if I had decent foreign budget as most Premiership sides do today, I would spend those €25m on Modric.

25 mill? is he really worth that much if real madrid are rumored to be only paying 10 mill for diego capel? honest question because ive never seen modric play.
