Petric and Olic were unstoppable for Hamburg. It's bizarre that they have not been able to transfer this form to international level. Maybe tonight's the night! For me, the club form of Srna, Modric and Corluka have been very encouraging as well. This game is MASSIVE. Ukraine made it to the quarters of the last world cup and will be cursing the draw which pitted them against two of the best teams in Europe. Come on Croatia!

(P.S. I wouldn't be surprised to see England drop points in Kazakhstan. The race for top spot is still very much alive in my view)

Agreed regarding Subasic, I was impressed with his performances with Hajduk throughout the season. Bilic surely won't start neither Gabric or Mandzukic, but we might see one of them play a role in it because both are buzzing with energy, and that might come in handy once fatigue starts creeping in on the game.

Also, and not to my delight, I think Bilic will go with Juric in the middle.
And thanks for commenting btw :)

I doubt much will change in the starting squad. I wouldn't mind seeing Subasic in the net for us though. This is a big game and I wouldn't expect Bilic to start anyone with little experience on the international scene.

It will be Olic/Petric up front, Modric/Srna/Kranjcar/(Rakitic or Vukojevic) in the middle and Corluka/Kovac/Simunic/Pranjic along the back.
