Injury Woes
As if Martin Taylor wasn’t mean enough to our Crozillian (that’s Brazil + Croatia for those unworthy among you), lady luck seems to have turned it’s back on our Eduardo, as he’s picked up yet another injury.
This time around, he injured his groin in a clumsy duel with Rio Ferdinand just minutes after his introduction in the match. And if my memory serves me right, this is actually the 3rd injury he’s picked up since his return back in February. Lady luck’s no lady it seems.
On a slightly more positive note, first reports say he’s due for a comeback in 3 weeks, so he’d make it just in time to be at Bilic’s disposal for our match against Ukraine. Fingers crossed.
Speaking of injuries and bad timing, looks like Kranjcar’s ankle won’t be fit for Ukraine. Though the first reports regarding his injury were optimistic, further scans indicated that the injury was a bit more serious. Speaking of which, Kranjcar has also had his fair share of injuries this season. Fingers crossed his visits to the doc are less frequent in 2009/2010. So that’s 2 of our first 11 out with injuries, and they both earn their living in the all too physical Premiership.
Let’s hope the rest of our English expedition, our Tottenham duo (Modric & Corluka) keep out of harm’s way for the remainder of season. And yes, the odds are I just probably jinxed them (not to mention I’ve barely a finger left to cross).

It’s not looking good, but I hope that Niko will be fit. Eduardo is out of form, for sure. Petric too.

Yeah, it’s not looking good. Eduardo’s well..he’s struggling obviously but I’ve no doubt in my mind that he’ll come through in the end. Petric looks outta shape, Klasnic looks drained. Not many options here for Bilic, all fingers are pointed at Olic I guess.

When Olic is regarded as the team saviour…there be problems.

@ Soze:
I know “exactly” what you mean.
