You’re right, it’s definitely worth mentioning, thanks for bringing it up. I’ll probably write a separate post on this subject though, focusing primarily on Mamic and the way he handles things in Dinamo. As to Soldo, I guess he just didn’t have the “stomach” to work along Mamic, but I imagine that’s something only a few coaches have nowadays. I also absolutely agree that Modric will make a massive impact in Tottenham.

I think it’s also worth mentioning that Dinamo Zagreb’s coach Zvonimir Soldo resigned after the final whistle. In general Dinamo’s coaches have a rather short “life expectancy” because Zdravko Mamic who pretty much rules the club in an autocratic way has rather extreme mood swings. During the last weeks there were a lot of rumours about Soldo being replaced after the season, so I guess he didn’t want to accept his fate and opted for resigning instead of being fired…. ; and Luka Modric … I believe he will quickly become one of Tottenham’s most important players.
