Corluka Gets More Praise

In an interesting article on Premiership fullbacks posted over at at Telegraph.co.uk, Corluka is mentioned as, I quote “Probably the most gifted right-back in the Premier League”. Actually I left out a tiny part of that sentence (put “After Sagna” on the beggining), but I’m sure no one will hold it against me. This little quote is only a glimpse of what kind of influence Corluka (nicknamed “Charlie”) has had since landing in Manchester.

Still only 22, yet a regular in a decent Premiership side and an irreplaceable figure in Slaven Bilic’s EURO domination plans (the competition, not the € mind you). He’s come a long way in the past 3 years, first playing in a little known suburb club Inter Zapresic, moving on to Dinamo, and finally making an instant Premiership impact following his 13m€ departure from Croatia’s capital.
But more on that later on.

What’s important is that he’s being recognized and given a due respect. Props to you Charlie.
